AECOMis seeking a Security Designer to join the firm’s Enterprise Capabilities team.
Here is what you will do
- In addition to managing the design aspect of the projects, the designer manages relationships with the project team and plays a critical role in meeting with clients to document their technical and operational requirements which forms the basis of the security design solution.
- The designer works alongside architects, engineers and interior designers daily, providing unique opportunities for collaboration and personal development not available in many other design firms.
- The designer will be required to develop integrated security solutions for a wide cross section of clients utilizing security solutions such as surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, voice communication systems as well as integrated collaborative systems used in the security and control operation center environment.
- The designer will be required to develop security solutions based on client requirements.
Here’s what we’re looking for
- The ability to work independently and communicate in a confident, articulate and sensitive manner is essential.
- The designer should have a passion for design innovation and quality and be able to effectively balance that with efficiency and creativity in the development of the design solution.
- A working knowledge of the AIA design process is also desirable.
- BA/BSc in a Technology / Electronics or similar field
- + 5 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
