BRMS Hiring: Senior Backfill Engineer
Job Overview:
Support the mining operations in Cemented Hydraulic Fill (CHF) and Paste Fill delivery, along with rockfill and CRF (Cemented Rock Fill) to the underground (UG) voids. In this role the incumbent will develop a strategic understanding all forms of backfill play in supporting the UG mining production and the larger tailings management plan for the Life of Mine operation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in underground mining, with exposure to paste or CHF backfill systems.
- Good understanding of longhole stoping and underground backfilling operations.
- Familiar with paste fill, CHF pastefill, and rockfill methods.
- Able to use mine planning or 3D design software (Deswik preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional site teams.
- Good communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Willing to work in underground mining operations and site-based environments
- Willing to be placed in Palu with roster system or PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk. & Group working areas.
