Role – Senior Civil Engineer
Location – Remote working with some regular business trips
- Client requires a Senior Civil Engineer with 10 years experience as minimum and must be German speaking
- Candidate will be required to travel every couple of weeks
Area of responsibility:
- This will be working on the construction of substations and construction of gas insulated switchgear systems
- The Senior Civil Engineer will check the implementation planning both technically and for contractual conformity
- The Senior Civil Engineer will work with the subcontractor and will be the contact person with regard to regular input to data and design interfaces and the aim is to support the planning office in meeting contractual deadlines
- In addition, the candidate should support the preparation of an inspection and test plan for the construction work. The candidate will coordinate closely with the project management and the construction manager.
- The Senior Civil engineer will be checking the quality from the design office, commenting on drawings and work flows and guiding the design office
Experience required
- Candidate must be German speaking
- Ideally experience within Substation design or similar
