Job Summary:
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising all electrical works on construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, Abu Dhabi regulations, and international standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Review and approve electrical shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Ensure compliance with ADDC, DEWA (if applicable), and local authority regulations.
Monitor project progress, quality, and safety of electrical works.
Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
Prepare technical reports and progress updates.
Support project planning, cost control, and scheduling activities.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction projects (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, lighting, power, and ELV systems.
Familiar with local authority approvals and regulations in Abu Dhabi.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
