Job Overview:

Working in close partnership with the HR Director, lead a broad organizational effectiveness and transformation agenda to elevate performance across the Club.

Drive the design and continuous evolution of the organization’s operating effectiveness by aligning structures, processes, and ways of working to strategic priorities. Lead a ground-up assessment of organizational performance to identify gaps, realign capabilities, and embed a high-performance mindset across both sporting and corporate functions.

Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership to inspire, motivate, and enable sustained performance improvement and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner closely with the HR Director to shape and deliver the organizational effectiveness and transformation agenda
  • Lead a ground-up assessment of organizational performance, capabilities, and structure to identify key gaps and priorities
  • Drive alignment on strategic objectives by translating them into organizational design, roles, and performance frameworks
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational performance, design, and transformation
  • Identify systemic performance challenges and lead enterprise-level solutions

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead organizational diagnostics with a holistic approach to support excellence in executing strategic priorities and achieving peak performance
  • Review operating models and workflows to establish clarity in processes, roles, accountabilities, and decision-making frameworks across the organization
  • Assess and monitor organizational health, including engagement, productivity, retention, and leadership effectiveness
  • Translate diagnostic insights into targeted, actionable improvement plans and monitor their implementation

Process Excellence

  • Lead enterprise-wide process reviews, improvement and re-engineering initiatives
  • Design and implement efficient, standardized processes to enhance execution and service delivery
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistent process management and continuous improvement
  • Partner with business units to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies

Transformation & Change Management

  • Lead complex transformation initiatives, including restructuring, operating model changes, and capability development
  • Develop and implement structured change management strategies to ensure adoption and sustainability
  • Build internal capability to manage and sustain change effectively

Team Performance & Capability

  • Design and implement frameworks to assess and improve team effectiveness and performance
  • Align team objectives and performance metrics with organizational priorities
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen accountability, collaboration, and performance discipline
  • Lead targeted interventions to address performance gaps and enhance team effectiveness

Culture & Performance Environment

  • Embed a high-performance, accountable culture aligned with organizational objectives
  • Reinforce leadership behaviours that drive ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen communication, transparency, and feedback loops across the organization
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment that supports innovation and performance
  • Conduct regular employee experience surveys and pulse checks with the aim to continuously enhance the employee journey unleashing potential

Data, Insights & Decision Support

  • Leverage HR and business data to assess organizational effectiveness and performance trends
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to support data-driven decision-making
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational effectiveness, transformation, strategy, or consulting roles
  • Strong experience in organizational design, performance improvement, and complex transformation initiatives
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide change
  • Experience in high-performance, fast-paced, or complex environments is advantageous
