Role Description
Homik Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in oil & gas engineering design across Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Brownfield projects.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects for onshore and offshore facilities, with strong technical leadership and project execution capability.
ROLE DEFINITION
Main responsibilities
• Lead mechanical engineering design activities for oil & gas projects.
Prepare and review: Equipment datasheets, technical specifications, Material requisitions, Mechanical calculations, Technical bid evaluations.
• Design/review: Pumps, Compressors, Pressure vessels, Heat exchange, Tanks, Utility systems, Rotating static equipment.
Key activities
• Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and technical audits.
• Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, civil/structural, and electrical teams.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with international standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Requirements
• B.Eng/B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–15 years oil & gas engineering design experience.
• Strong FEED and Detailed Engineering Design experience.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM projects.
• Good knowledge of: API, ASME, ISO, ASTM, ANSI standards
• Proficiency in tools such as: AutoCAD, PDMS/E3D, PV Elite, Caesar II
• COREN registration is an added advantage.
