Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Tuas. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering projects, designing machinery and systems, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software i.e. Solidworks and ACAD, and managing project timelines and deliverables. The role also involves contributing to research and development (R&D) initiatives and providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges while ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
- Expertise in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and coordination
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), with a focus on delivering innovative solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of oilfield equipment and offshore engineering is an advantage
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements, i.e. API 6A, API 17D, NACE MR0175.
- Experience with product design, development, testing and qualification will be a plus
