Harris WESCAM’s advanced engineering team, your specialized knowledge will drive the creation of cutting-edge imaging systems. You will manage complex engineering challenges while applying your expertise in CAD design, analysis, and leadership to support project completion and departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical design from concept through production
• Suggest innovations for system improvement and cost reduction
• Complete challenging engineering assignments with defined objectives
• Participate in design reviews as presenter or reviewer
• Mentor junior engineers in design practices and methods
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years or Graduate Degree with 4+ years
• Expertise in FEA, CFD, Solid Works, and MATLAB Simulink
• Well-versed in mechanical vibration and opto-mechanical design
• Strong technical communication and report writing skills
• Must obtain Canadian government security clearance
