Lightmatter is seeking an experienced Photonics Technical Lead to enhance its laser development team. In this strategic role, you will leverage your Ph.D. in Photonics or a related field along with 8 years of expertise in photonic devices. Your primary focus will be on creating integrated laser solutions for silicon photonics aiding AI communications and computations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and launch a high-volume laser product
• Collaborate with architecture and product teams on laser concepts
• Create detailed engineering execution plans from specifications
• Resolve complex design and manufacturing challenges
• Work with cross-disciplinary teams for system performance
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Minimum of 8 years in photonic devices and circuits
• Strong knowledge of silicon photonics
• Proven teamwork with cross-functional engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills for technical concepts
