Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Planning Engineer role based in North Coast with ELsoadaa Group. The Senior Planning Engineer will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and ensure that project milestones and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked. The role includes preparing progress reports, updating planning and control documents, analyzing schedule variances, and recommending corrective actions to keep projects on time and within scope. The Senior Planning Engineer will work closely with project managers and production teams to align resources, optimize workflows, and support decision-making. The position also involves participating in project meetings, communicating schedule risks and opportunities, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning and control processes.
Qualifications
- Strong planning and production planning skills, with experience developing and maintaining project or production schedules.
- Proven analytical skills and project control capabilities to monitor progress, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and site personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects, preferably in a senior or lead planning role.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical standards, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team.
