Position: Senior Process Engineer with SAGD Expertise
Fulfill a pivotal role as a Senior Process Engineer focused on SAGD and heavy oil processing. Drive engineering processes and deliver results while mentoring junior staff and engaging clients.
This position seeks a professional with significant experience in thermal SAGD and related engineering practices. You will lead design activities, ensure high quality in engineering outputs, and handle client interactions effectively. A collaborative spirit will aid in delivering integrated engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design activities for a range of project complexities
• Guide and mentor junior engineers in their deliverables
• Conduct concept and feasibility studies for projects
• Generate engineering documentation including hydraulic analysis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for client delivery
Requirements:
• 15-20 years of process engineering experience required
• Proficient in HYSYS and other simulation software
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Engineering, preferred Chemical or Mechanical
• Required P.Eng. registration, additional credentials are beneficial
• Strong communication skills in both written and oral formats
