Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior System Engineer role based in Suva. The Senior System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing expert system administration across various platforms. Key responsibilities include crafting efficient system designs, delivering technical support to internal and external stakeholders, monitoring system performance, and ensuring seamless functionality of IT infrastructures to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Systems Engineering and Systems Design to develop and implement effective IT solutions.
- Strong expertise in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to quickly identify and resolve system issues.
- Experience in System Administration, including managing user accounts, network tools, and software installations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in system administration, cloud technologies, or IT infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, AWS) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in documenting technical processes and maintaining system logs for audit and compliance purposes.
