Job Summary
MOBCO Group is seeking a qualified Senior Technical Engineer – Architecture to join our team for a high-rise hospitality project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing architectural technical aspects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring project execution aligns with design intent, specifications, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Coordinate with consultants, designers, and project teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Manage technical submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs
- Coordinate with Civil, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure proper design integration
- Review shop drawings and material submissions prior to consultant approval
- Monitor site implementation to ensure compliance with approved drawings
- Support the project team in resolving technical and design-related challenges
- Assist in value engineering and design optimization
- Participate in project meetings with clients and consultants
- Maintain proper documentation and technical reporting
- Support QA/QC team in quality compliance requirements
Requirements:-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
- 5–8 years of experience in architectural technical roles
- Mandatory experience in high-rise and hospitality projects
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia preferred
- Strong knowledge of architectural standards and construction practices
- Ability to review and interpret complex drawings and specifications
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
