Role Description The Senior Technical Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abeokuta, responsible for overseeing the technical operation and maintenance of MOPO battery systems and solar charging hubs. This role includes diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing advanced technical support to local agents, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Senior Technical Officer will coordinate routine inspections, manage equipment servicing schedules, and maintain accurate technical records and reports. The role also involves supporting customer service teams with complex technical inquiries, training junior technical staff, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation and problem-solving for technical and operational challenges.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with local agents, internal teams, and customers, and for delivering clear technical guidance.
- Proficiency in technical support, including troubleshooting battery systems, solar equipment, and related hardware.
- Bachelor’s degree /HND in electrical engineering or relative field.
- inventory management skills.
- Knowledge of solar power systems, battery technologies, and safety standards applicable to energy infrastructure.
- Ability to work on-site in Abeokuta, manage field operations, and travel locally.
- Based in Abeokuta or willing to self-move
Salary range: #250,000 – #350,000
