About the Opportunity
Texnopark LLC, one of the largest industrial groups in Central Asia, is launching a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for cemented tungsten carbide products serving the global mining industry.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the creation of a world-class production facility from the ground up. As our Senior Tungsten Carbide Technology Expert, you will drive technology transfer, commission advanced manufacturing equipment, establish production processes, and build a high-performing engineering team.
Relocation to Tashkent (Uzbekistan) is supported. International candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead technology transfer with international partners.
• Establish and optimize manufacturing processes for cemented tungsten carbide products.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and production start-up.
• Develop SOPs and production standards.
• Build and implement quality assurance systems aligned with international standards.
• Train and mentor engineers, supervisors, and production teams.
• Improve manufacturing performance using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and FMEA methodologies.
• Drive continuous process improvement and production optimization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Powder Metallurgy, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cemented tungsten carbide manufacturing.
• Proven experience with technology transfer, plant commissioning, production optimization, and greenfield manufacturing projects.
• Expertise in HPGR Studs, Mining Wear Parts, Cemented Carbide Inserts, Rock Drilling Products, Cutting Tools, or Wear Resistant Components.
• Fluent English.
Preferred Industry Background
Candidates with experience at companies such as Sandvik, Kennametal, CERATIZIT, Plansee Group, Hyperion Materials & Technologies, Element Six, Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group, Mitsubishi Materials, Sumitomo Electric Hardmetal, Tungaloy, ISCAR, Guhring, TaeguTec, Epiroc, Metso, Weir, FLSmidth, or CITIC Heavy Industries will be highly valued.
