Electro Automation Group is seeking qualified Electricians to join our growing Service & Installation teams. This role involves the commissioning, installation, maintenance, and fault finding of a wide range of automation and access control systems including automated gates, barriers, doors, bollards, car parking equipment, and associated control systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused Electrician who enjoys technical problem-solving and working with innovative technologies. Your Responsibilities
As a Service or Installations Engineer, you will:
- Commission, install, maintain, and fault-find on automated gates, barriers, doors, bollards, car parking systems, and associated control equipment.
- Complete all job information accurately and in real time using our customised mobile application.
- Identify and communicate any issues or risks during the planning, installation, and post-installation stages of projects.
- Deliver a professional, courteous, and responsive service to customers and colleagues.
- Maintain the highest standards of Environmental, Health and Safety practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing business processes and efficiencies.
- Participate in the shared after-hours service rota alongside fellow engineers. 1 week in 4
- Assist with additional duties and projects as required to support the wider business.
Your Areas of Knowledge & Expertise – That Matter to Us
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician with recognised trade certification.
- Ability to provide valid trade certificates.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of electrical control systems and safe working practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Bonus Areas – Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
While not essential, experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
- Automated gates and barriers.
- Access control systems.
- Automatic doors.
- Car parking systems.
- PLCs and control panels.
- Networking and communications equipment. IT Skills
- Previous field service or commissioning experience.
- Experience using digital job management or mobile service applications.
