SANY Nigeria is looking to hire Field Service Engineers who are already based in Kano & environs to support our growing operations.
In this role, you will provide critical on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for our heavy-duty mining truck fleet across key Northern sites: Kazaure, Wudil, and Katsina.
Important: To ensure rapid emergency response times on-site, candidates must reside in or have very close proximity to Kano, Kazaure, Wudil, or Katsina.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Maintenance: Lead the assembly, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on SANY mining trucks across project sites in Kazaure, Wudil, and Katsina.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures on-site using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Client Technical Support: Act as the technical point of contact on-site, providing immediate guidance to operators on machine safety, operation, and maintenance best practices.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed service logs, failure analyses, and parts consumption reports to help optimize machine reliability.
What We Need
- Location: Based in or within very close proximity to Kano, Kazaure, Wudil, or Katsina (non-negotiable).
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience with heavy-duty trucks or mining machinery.
- Education: Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities in heavy-duty transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical circuits.
- Flexibility: Readiness to travel quickly between regional project sites to support active operations.
