SigmaNEST Laser/Plasma Programmer/Nester Jobs in Portland, OR at Confidential
- Monday – Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm. Job is on-site only. Overtime as required. Pay is depending on experience.
JOB DUTIES:
Create and provide accurate CNC programs using SigmaNest software for Laser/Plasma cutting.
Optimize material utilization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- SigmaNest software experience.
- Read, understand and interpret 2D geometry files, 3D models, and blueprints
- Auto CAD and CNC programing experience.
- 2+ years of manufacturing process experience and a demonstrated aptitude for drafting standards or related technical knowledge OR comparable education and a demonstrated ability to drafting standards or relevant technical knowledge
- An understanding of manufacturing methods, capabilities, procedures and standards
- Be team oriented and results driven, with the ability to work with a team of diverse individuals
- Demonstrate motivation, initiative and high level of attention to detail
- Able to work from written instructions, detailed engineering drawings, 2D and 3D models
- Ability to use elementary math, trigonometry, and geometry
- Able to work independently as a problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the capacity to finish projects promptly
