Role Description The Site Coordinator at GridTech Experts Engineering (GridTEE) is responsible for organizing and overseeing day-to-day site activities for power system and substation projects, ensuring that work is planned, executed, and documented in line with project requirements and safety standards. This contract role is hybrid, based in Jubail, with some flexibility for work from home as project needs allow. Key responsibilities include coordinating site schedules, arranging access and permits, supporting logistics for personnel and equipment, and maintaining accurate records of site progress, issues, and resolutions. The Site Coordinator collaborates with engineers, technicians, contractors, and client representatives to facilitate testing and commissioning activities, monitor compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures, and escalate risks or delays to project leadership. The role also involves preparing basic reports, following up on action items, ensuring clear communication among stakeholders, and assisting in handover documentation and close-out processes.
Qualifications
- Strong site coordination and project support skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and documentation of daily activities.
- Experience working in industrial or utility environments, ideally within power systems, substations, or related engineering projects.
- Knowledge of basic health, safety, and environmental practices, with the ability to promote safe work behaviors and follow HSE procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and client representatives on-site and remotely.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Comfort with using office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, project trackers, document management systems) for coordination and reporting.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage but not mandatory.
