We are currently seeking to appoint a Site Engineer to join Jaber Group Real Estate in Beirut, Lebanon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Support the preparation and follow-up of weekly site programs, resource forecasts, concrete forecasts, and work priorities, to ensure site activities are planned and coordinated.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant site stakeholders on daily execution requirements, to reduce delays and improve workflow continuity.
- Escalate conflicts, interferences, delays, or recurring execution difficulties to the Owner Representative, to support timely resolution.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) drawings before execution, to identify discrepancies, missing details, or constructability concerns.
- Raise technical clarifications, drawing needs, or site queries in advance, to avoid execution delays and rework.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of site modifications as per approved procedures, to ensure works remain controlled and documented.
- Monitor site works to ensure quality control procedures, method statements, checklists, approved materials, and specifications are followed.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, or deviations from approved drawings and procedures, and support the preparation or follow-up of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) where required.
- Verify that materials stored, received, and used on site are aligned with approved requirements, to support workmanship and quality standards.
- Prepare daily and periodic site reports covering executed activities, manpower, quantities, progress status, and key site observations.
- Update work progress and building/site status records, to provide accurate visibility on actual progress versus planned activities.
- Share progress updates, risks, blockers, and decisions required with the Owner Representative, to support transparent project reporting.
- Monitor compliance with HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) requirements, site safety rules, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements, housekeeping standards, and relevant safety instructions, to support a safe working environment.
- Report unsafe practices, incidents, or repeated non-compliance to the Owner Representative and relevant responsible parties.
- Promote disciplined site execution by following approved procedures, reporting channels, and documentation requirements.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience 3–6 years of experience in construction site execution, supervision, or project coordination, preferably in real estate, building construction, contractor, or consultant environments.
