Job Description / Responsibility
SRD Limited is one of the top industrial construction companies in Bangladesh, and we are working together to ensure construction and business needs are met. SRD Limited is looking for a responsible and technically skilled Site Engineer – Construction Project to supervise and coordinate construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure all site works are carried out according to approved drawings, designs, specifications, and BOQ.
- Monitor civil, structural, architectural, finishing, and related construction works.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site workers.
- Check layout, levels, measurements, materials, and workmanship quality at site.
- Prepare daily work progress reports, manpower reports, material reports, and site updates.
- Ensure proper use of construction materials and control material wastage.
- Monitor project progress and support the team to complete work within the planned schedule.
- Identify site problems and report them to the Project Manager with practical solutions.
- Assist in preparing material requisitions, work schedules, and site planning.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor work quantities for billing support.
- Ensure safety rules, PPE usage, and site safety procedures are properly maintained.
- Maintain proper site documentation, including drawings, reports, checklists, and inspection records.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical updates when required.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material delivery.
- Support quality control activities and ensure defects are corrected properly.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Skills Required: Civil Engineering, Site Engineering
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
