Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for two Site Engineers based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Site Engineers will oversee daily site activities, including supervising civil and structural works, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. They will monitor quality control, safety standards, and progress, documenting site reports and resolving technical issues as they arise. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and engineering teams to support telecom and power infrastructure installations, testing, and commissioning. Site Engineers will also participate in site inspections, resource planning, and communication with stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision and coordination skills, with experience managing field activities and site logistics.
- Solid background in civil engineering or structural engineering, including understanding of construction methods, materials, and design standards.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with project teams, contractors, and clients, and for preparing clear site reports.
- Experience in quality control practices, safety compliance, and inspection procedures for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (BSc required).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in basic engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office); familiarity with telecom or power projects is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in changing site conditions.
- Willingness to work on-site in Phnom Penh and potentially travel to other project locations as needed.
