Location: Montreal
Our client, an engineering consulting firm, is looking for a Site Supervisor Technician (90% site work and 10% office work).
Monitor municipal construction sites (cities, municipalities and developers);
Read plans and specifications, interpret them, compare them to the work, and report any discrepancies;
Monitor each stage of the work to ensure the quality of execution by the contractor;
Participate in site meetings;
Encourage stakeholders to comply with workplace safety rules;
Examine the quality of completed work to ensure that it complies with standards and prepare lists of deficiencies;
Prepare daily reports on the progress of the work;
Assist engineers in studies and participate in the design of municipal infrastructure projects (drainage works, roads, sewers, and aqueducts).
Requirements:
DEC in Civil Engineering;
At least 5 years of experience as a site supervisor technician;
Experience in civil engineering, municipal construction, excavation, drainage, roads, sewers and aqueducts in Quebec;
Good knowledge of standards and regulations;
ASP construction card;
Knowledge of AutoCAD;
Driver’s license, (mileage reimbursed);
French, functional English.
