Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor role based in Kaluthara,Badulla,Moneragala. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineers, contractors, and workers; planning and assigning tasks; monitoring progress; and resolving on-site issues promptly. The role involves supervising material usage, maintaining site records, and reporting progress and challenges to project management. The Site Supervisor will also be responsible for enforcing health and safety guidelines, conducting basic quality checks, and supporting inspections and audits as required.
Qualifications
- Strong site supervision skills, including managing daily operations, coordinating labor, and monitoring work quality.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and experience implementing health, safety, and environmental practices on site.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with engineers, subcontractors, workers, and clients.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills, including maintaining logs, reports, and basic documentation.
- Prior experience in construction or engineering site supervision is highly desirable.
- Diploma or vocational qualification in civil engineering, construction, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Bandaragama on a full-time basis and adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
