Role Description The Skilled Labourer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Saint Julian's, Malta. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy and efficiency systems, including handling tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include supporting qualified technicians on-site, following work instructions and safety procedures, preparing job sites, cleaning and organizing work areas, and performing basic troubleshooting under supervision. The Skilled Labourer will also help with loading and unloading materials, documenting completed work as required, and communicating clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in skilled labor, construction, electrical, mechanical, or related technical work, with the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and safety protocols, and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity, including the ability to work at heights, lift moderate loads, and perform outdoor work in varying conditions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional attitude toward colleagues, clients, and supervisors.
  • Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Previous experience in renewable energy or energy efficiency projects is an asset but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Valid work authorization for Malta; a valid driver’s license is considered an advantage.
