Responsibilities:

Test Android & iOS apps for functionality, performance, usability, and user experience.
Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform smoke, regression, sanity, exploratory, and UAT testing for new features and releases.
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, logs, and impact analysis.
Validate critical app flows such as onboarding, authentication, and payments.
Perform basic API testing and validate backend-integrated features.
Test app performance across multiple devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
Verify UI alignment, responsiveness, and adherence to Figma design specifications.
Lead and guide junior SQA engineers, ensuring quality and consistency.
Coordinate with developers & product team to ensure smooth release cycles.
Track testing progress, test reporting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
Strong understanding of software QA concepts, SDLC/STLC, and testing methodologies.
Proven experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, and compatibility testing.
Ability to write clear test cases, test scenarios, and detailed bug reports.
Experience with bug tracking or test management tools.
Understanding of APIs, backend behavior, and automation tools.
Experience in mentoring or leading QA team members.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and good communication skills.
Preferred degrees are Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
