Construction Manager Accountable for all Civil Works and associated financial control via Scheduling (time), SP/ASP and Quality Management on a given project. Ensure that all Service Providers are adhering to Ericsson standards, processes and procedures as well as all Federal and Local standards. Identifies continuous improvement opportunities. Interfaces with External Interfaces: ASP/SP, Customer PM Internal Interfaces: IM Lead, Project Admin, Project Sponsor, CPM.
Responsibilities
- Assess and control charges to the agreed site design.
- Ensure only Customer’s approved materials are installed on the project.
- Follow and enforce agreed Civil Works guidelines and schedules.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Monitor on-site supervision where risk of disturbances in customer site performance is high.
- Maintain acceptable working environment, conduct safety inspections, and ensure tools are in good working condition.
- Solve Civil Works problems as required during the project.
- Coordinate site activities and ensure all disciplines involved are aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Drive schedule activities and troubleshoot results.
- Verify that Service Providers and vendors/suppliers meet all technical specifications for E/// and customer requirements.
- Ensure workmanship quality of installations is within contract, Ericsson standards, and customer expectations.
- Enforce all Ericsson, Federal, Local, and customer safety guidelines and construction procedures throughout the Civil Works phase.
- Apply knowledge in workers and work environment safety.
- Perform site pre-inspections, coordinate post-construction audits, site verification, and visual inspection of quality on site.
- Prepare regular interval progress reports and provide accurate status information to project management.
- Provide technical assistance to Service Providers and other suppliers related to Civil Works activities.
- Reject wrong deliveries of material to site.
- Report poor performance and quality on site.
- Interpret and comply with civil design plans.
- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor works with Service Providers and other disciplines linked to the Civil Works part of the project.
- Lead the team focusing on quality and results.
- Write claims, order and return materials.
- Maintain and update construction-specific areas of Site Handler, including SOW and preconstruction documents (NTP, SOW, RFDS, safety guidance, QA standards, etc.), NTP receipt verification, RFDS submission review and changes, Civils acceptance documents, submission receipt, review and approval, Civils progress PFA verification (daily), and close-out document review and acceptance sign off.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Job-related experience with project builds over 200 sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to analyze and adapt procedures, techniques, and methods.
- Ability to actively contribute to improvement and change.
- Independent work capability.
Pay Rate: 60-65$ / hr Incorp
