Job Description:
We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic QA/QC Professional to join our team. This role is designed for a technical expert with a proven track record of excellence in large-scale Rail, Metro, or Railway Infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead quality initiatives, ensuring that all engineering and construction activities adhere to the highest international standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead all QA/QC activities, ensuring comprehensive compliance with project quality requirements and technical specifications.
- Standards & Compliance: Conduct internal audits and drive the seamless implementation of ISO 9001:2015 standards across the project lifecycle.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and maintain high-level QA/QC procedures, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and all quality-related documentation.
- Site Surveillance: Actively monitor construction and installation activities to verify adherence to approved designs and engineering standards.
- Corrective Governance: Proactively identify non-conformities; develop and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary quality interface, coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Performance Monitoring: Support continuous improvement initiatives and track quality performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
- Reporting: Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all quality activities and audit findings to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Industry Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of professional QA/QC experience specifically within the rail or metro sectors.
- Professional Certification: Preferably a Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), audit methodologies, and site inspection processes.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership capability, refined communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach to complex problem-solving.
- Field Experience: Proven track record in conducting audits, performing site inspections, and managing technical quality assurance documentation.
