Role Description
We are looking for professionals with proven expertise in the structural design of building and/or harbour/marine infrastructure projects who are committed to delivering engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake structural analysis, design, and design reviews for building and/or harbour/marine infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review structural calculations, engineering drawings, and technical submissions.
- Prepare, review, and validate structural design reports and supporting engineering documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable international design codes, project specifications, and engineering best practices.
- Utilize structural analysis and design software, including SAP2000, ETABS, and other relevant engineering applications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, practical, and cost-effective structural solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in structural design within the construction industry, with experience in one or both of the following disciplines:
- Building Structures – Structural design and design review of reinforced concrete and steel buildings.
- Harbour/Marine Structures – Structural design and design review of berthing structures and other port or marine infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in structural analysis, design review, calculation review, and technical report writing.
- Strong proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, and other structural analysis and design software.
- Sound knowledge of international structural design standards and engineering practices.
- Excellent analytical, technical, communication, and report-writing skills.
