Job Title: Temporary Band and Orchestra Instructor – Summer Camp 2026
Location: East Carolina University School of Music (camp conducted July 21-26, 2026)
Full Time Equivalent (FTE): 1.0
Salary: $100 – $825 (range may vary based on budget and qualifications)
Responsibilities
- Teach and rehearse students in grades 6-12 during the Summer Band and Orchestra Camp (June 21-26, 2026).
- Provide counseling and coaching on specific areas of expertise (e.g., french horn, musicianship, saxophone, flute, trombone, trumpet, clarinet, percussion, double reeds, euphonium/tuba, jazz, violin, viola, cello, bass).
- May be asked to teach private lessons during afternoons (extra compensation based on number of lessons taught).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Musical proficiency in one or more of the following instruments/bands: french horn, musicianship, saxophone, flute, trombone, trumpet, clarinet, percussion, double reeds, euphonium/tuba, jazz, violin, viola, cello, bass.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
