Job Description
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising daily facilities operations, ensuring all maintenance activities, building services, and support functions are carried out efficiently and safely. The role includes coordinating with contractors and service providers, monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards. The Facilities Supervisor also supports reporting, team supervision, and timely resolution of facility-related issues to maintain a safe and well-functioning environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day facilities operations across assigned buildings or sites.
- Monitor maintenance activities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil, and cleaning services.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure work completion within SLA requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Track preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support emergency response procedures and incident reporting.
- Monitor inventory and usage of maintenance materials and equipment.
- Prepare operational reports, maintenance logs, and performance updates.
- Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
- Assist in implementing sustainability and energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and timely resolution of facility-related issues.
Qualifications
- UAE National (Emirati) with valid family book.
- 1-3 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or building operations.
- Strong communication and team supervision skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
