Position Description
You will serve as a Division Head (Supervisory General Engineer) in the NAWCAD Lakehurst, ALRE Department, Ford Class Launch & Recovery Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will Lead and manage a division in life cycle management of assigned programs, including planning, execution, and sustainment to support fleet readiness.
- You will Supervise, mentor, and develop employees by providing clear direction, coaching, training opportunities, and regular performance feedback, including performance appraisals and career development planning.
- You will plan and allocate resources (funding, manpower, facilities) to meet mission requirements and program objectives, and adjust plans as priorities, risks, and constraints change.
- You will exercise technical authority and make timely, risk-based decisions to support fleet readiness and resolve complex technical issues.
- You will monitor, review, and assess division work products and performance to ensure quality, compliance with policy and standards, and achievement of programmatic and strategic objectives.
- You will conduct manpower and workload assessments to determine optimal staffing, skill mix, and organizational structure to meet mission needs.
