Position: Sustainability Specialist at DIALOG
Drive sustainable building initiatives as a Sustainability Specialist us on LEED systems, advanced materials, and project management while collaborating across Canada and the United States.
As a key member of the Sustainability + Building Performance team, you will manage diverse projects, liaise with clients, and contribute to the pursuit of eco-friendly goals. You’ll participate in the integrated design process, conduct green product research, and develop carbon reduction strategies using Life Cycle Assessments.
Your role supports various green building certification systems, ensuring adherence to leading environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple project scopes and track deliverables
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project designs
• Research green products and verify manufacturers’ claims
• Develop presentations and sustainability planning documents
• Guide energy modeling and Life Cycle Costing Analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in building performance
• LEED Green Associate or commitment to obtain quickly
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
• Knowledge of project specifications and architectural drawings
