About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and client-focused Systems Engineer – L1/L2 to join their growing MSP team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical issues, taking ownership of escalations, and delivering exceptional support to international clients.

You’ll be responsible for supporting Microsoft 365 environments, managing cloud infrastructure, maintaining SLA-driven ticket workflows, and contributing to ongoing technical improvements and projects.

Working Mode: Remote

Shift: 3.30 AM – 12.30 PM (Sri Lankan time) | Monday to Friday

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 support and escalation handling across Microsoft 365 environments
  • Manage and troubleshoot Azure, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online
  • Maintain strong ticket ownership, accurate documentation, and SLA performance
  • Perform OS and third-party patch management using Intune and PatchMyPC
  • Monitor Veeam backup health checks and replication processes
  • Provide client updates and assist with monthly VIP reporting
  • Create KB articles and contribute to service improvement initiatives
  • Support onboarding, migrations, and small infrastructure projects
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and scheduled after-hours maintenance windows

📌 Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on L2 Microsoft 365 support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Azure, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage and/or RMM platforms
  • Familiarity with backup monitoring, patch management, and security best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and client communication skills
  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, or MD-102 are preferred
  • Previous MSP or client-facing support experience is highly desirable
