Xorora is a Lahore-based data, digital, and software solutions company serving international clients. We build AI-enabled products — chatbots, RAG systems, workflow automation, and SaaS platforms — and we're now hiring the engineer who will lead this wing from the ground up.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role — not a pure management seat, and not just another coding job.
You will own technical direction at Xorora: joining discovery calls with international clients, designing architecture, mentoring developers, and shipping production AI systems. If you are a senior full stack engineer who still enjoys writing code but is ready to lead a team and own delivery end to end, this role was written for you.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical discovery calls with international clients — scope problems, integrations, budgets, and timelines
- Design architecture and turn requirements into clear delivery roadmaps
- Build AI products: chatbots, RAG knowledge assistants, document Q&A systems, automations, and SaaS platforms
- Lead and mentor the development team through code reviews, coding standards, and technical decisions
- Own projects from discovery to deployment and post-launch improvement
What We're Looking For
- Full Stack (5+ years): React.js / Next.js / TypeScript with Node.js (NestJS/Express) or Python (FastAPI/Django)
- Backend depth: REST APIs, database design, authentication and RBAC, queues, caching, system architecture
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
- AI/GenAI: OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini APIs; LangChain or LlamaIndex; vector databases, embeddings, RAG pipelines
- Cloud and DevOps: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions
- Fluent written and spoken English — you will speak directly with international clients
- Ownership mindset — you lead, mentor, and take responsibility for outcomes
Preferred: hands-on experience shipping chatbots, AI agents, or document-based AI systems to production.
