Antagro is seeking an experienced Technical Field Agricultural Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for vegetable seed trials all over Lebanon and ensuring the successful positioning of our Seeds in the field with farmers and in the market.
The position involves visiting farmers and agri-pharmacies to offer guidance, support as well as provide technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal product use.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Conduct regular visits to farmers to monitor and ensure proper implementation of vegetable seed trials.
- Oversee the trial stations.
- Provide technical advice and hands-on support to farmers, ensuring they are using our products effectively and in line with best practices.
- Visit agri-pharmacies to follow up on product sales and support marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and pharmacy owners.
- Write regular reports about vegetable varieties by collecting data from the field visits, reflecting the feedback from the field.
- Establish a link between farmers and agi-pharmacies to promote our company’s products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as field agricultural engineer.
- Strong knowledge of vegetable seeds, seed varieties in the market, and crop behavior.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be mobile and willing to travel regularly to agricultural sites all over Lebanon.
- A valid driver's license.
