Job Summary:

Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the industrial solutions sector, is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Senior Technical Sales Engineer. 

In this role, you will lead business development, manage key accounts, and act as the vital link between engineering excellence and commercial growth. You will combine strong technical expertise with strategic sales leadership to expand market presence across Egypt's industrial, automation, and manufacturing sectors, driving high-value capital equipment and modular system projects from prospecting to final handover.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement technical sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and maintain a robust project pipeline across manufacturing and heavy production sectors. 
  • Consultative Technical Sales: Identify new business opportunities, conduct detailed site visits, and perform technical consultations with plant managers, production teams, and procurement departments to assess operational needs.  
  • Customized Solution Design: Collaborate closely with internal technical and design teams to propose tailored system configurations, utilizing mechanical drawings or CAD blueprints to meet exact customer specifications. 
  • Proposals & Bidding: Prepare and present highly accurate technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and layouts; actively participate in bidding processes and respond to complex RFQs. 
  • Relationship & Account Management: Manage high-value capital projects, lead complex negotiation cycles, and cultivate long-term partnerships with factories, OEMs, and automation integrators. Product
  • Demonstrations: Deliver compelling technical presentations and machinery demonstrations highlighting efficiency, lean production value, and ROI. 
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Synchronize with engineering, logistics, and after-sales teams to ensure the seamless delivery, installation, and commissioning of systems while maintaining meticulous sales records via CRM tools. 
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior sales engineers within the team. 

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 8 years of proven experience in B2B technical sales, specifically within heavy machinery, industrial solutions, automation components, or modular aluminum systems. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of industrial production processes, technical drawings, CAD layouts, lean manufacturing tools, conveyors, and ergonomic workstation designs. 
  • Commercial Skills: Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and technical documentation skills with a proven track record of managing long-term, multi-stakeholder consultative sales cycles. 
  • Languages: Fluent command of both English and Arabic. 
  • Mobility: Must possess a personal car, a valid driver's license, and a strong willingness to travel frequently to industrial facilities, production sites, and exhibitions across Egypt.
