Role Purpose:
A Technician Level 1 is expected to perform all maintenance and repairs to the required manufactures standards.
Job Accountabilities & Activities:
– Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on equipment.
Where required assist and support other team members to complete their assigned tasks.
– Diagnose, analyses and rectify all types of faults, using manufactures information.
– Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. In line with Manufacturers standard times.
– Ensure company/manufactures policies and procedures followed.
– Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
– Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues.
– Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
– Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.
Education & Certifications:
High school education
Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufactures qualification
Required Years of Experience:
Over 6 years’ work experience or equivalent knowledge in repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment
