Main Purpose Of The Job
- Responsible for the process, governments' electricity departments invite bids for large projects that must be submitted within a finite deadline. And also for the process whereby shareholders submit their shares or securities in response to a takeover offer.
- Responsible for following up with clients and suppliers for technical and commercial requirements to fulfill all bids and offer needs to participate in mega projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Study the tender book for all technical and commercial requirements.
- Request suppliers for quotations as per customer specifications.
- Study all received HV accessories, clients' & suppliers' offers from technical and commercial points of view, and select the product that satisfies customer needs.
- Preparation of all documents for bidding before closing date (technical data sheets, technical drawings, commercial prices, compliance statement, manufacturer responsibility statement, and terms & conditions).
- Responsible for the submission of different revisions of the technical offers and commercial offers.
- Reply to all clarifications and comments during the tendering stage to comply with their specification.
- Receive the draft contracts and revise them to give comments, if any, or approve them.
- Follow up on the orders with the planning department and satisfy customer terms and conditions.
- Technical and engineering support for most cable contractors.
- Creating and updating a Database for the Tendering and Procurement Department for HV Accessories
- Acting as a connecting loop between HV accessory suppliers and the project's installation team
- Followed up with clients and suppliers and became the communication channel between them to achieve the project needs and requested deliveries.
- preparation for inspections if needed for any order.
- Study and prepare for suppliers' invoices and work with the financial department until make sure payment reaches suppliers
- Contact suppliers for new products and contact clients for discussion every calendar month for the electricity investment plans and new projects.
- Organizing and monitoring the shipping of supplied materials for drop shipments to requested countries based on the offered Incoterm agreed upon and in coordination with the logistics department.
- Provide project departments with installation works and supplier product instructions, and negotiate for training for several products.
- Providing samples from new supplier products to the Research and Development department.
Job Requirement:
- Education: BSc Degree in Engineering + at least PMP preparation test Certificate preferable
- Years of Experience: 2 : 5 years of experience
- English: fluent
- Experience managing Large Contracts
- Experience preparing submissions to meet contractual requirements.
- Technical skills for supplied products
- Experience in bidding
