Become a pivotal part of the Electric Hearth innovation team at Napoleon as a Validation Lab Technician. Focus on safety and performance testing to ensure top-quality products meet industry standards.
This full-time, on-site role reports to the Validation Manager/Supervisor and is integral to new product development. You’ll utilize your expertise in safety testing, environmental analysis, and technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Your contributions directly support the creation of reliable and efficient products in the heating industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct safety and performance testing per industry standards
• Analyze and report on product efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with teams on product designs and improvements
• Validate technical specifications and documentation
• Manage product data storage and analysis
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Engineering Technology or similar
• Minimum 5 years in grill/hearth/HVAC validation
• Knowledge of combustion and HVAC systems
• Experience with Solid Works and Microsoft Excel
• Certifications in G3, WETT, or NFI preferred
