Valve Engineer – Full Time

Location: Based in Pinxton Derbyshire – Working Across the UK

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Valve Technician to join our growing team. This role involves travelling and working on customer sites throughout the UK, supporting a range of industrial and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect, dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial valves

* Perform pressure testing and diagnostics

* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Carry out on-site and workshop-based valve servicing

* Travel to customer sites across the UK as required

* Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

* Complete service reports and maintenance documentation

* Support shutdowns and emergency call-outs when required

* install new valves and commission

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Valve Technician or Mechanical Technician

* Knowledge of control valves, safety valves, and actuators

* Ability to use measuring and testing equipment

* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

* Willingness to travel and work throughout the UK

* Full UK driving licence preferred

* Relevant engineering or mechanical qualifications advantageous
