A major EPC firm is seeking a Vice President / Division Manager to lead and own their newly established data center division. This is a rare executive opportunity to join at the inception of a high-growth practice – with full accountability for strategy, delivery, people, and commercial performance. The ideal candidate brings deep sector expertise and the leadership credentials to build something significant.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic vision for the data center division, aligning with the firm's broader growth objectives.
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the division, driving revenue growth, margin performance, and operational excellence.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of project directors, engineers, and support staff across multiple projects.
- Serve as the executive face of the division to hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients — owning key relationships at C-suite level.
- Lead business development efforts — identifying opportunities, driving pursuits, and closing major contracts.
- Oversee project delivery standards, risk frameworks, and quality assurance across the division's portfolio.
Requirements
- 20+ years in construction, with substantial data center sector experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading a business unit or division, with direct P&L ownership.
- Executive-level client management experience, with a strong network across the data center ecosystem.
- Deep knowledge of data center design, MEP systems, and the full EPC delivery lifecycle.
- Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain senior talent in a competitive market.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
