Edisto Consulting Group is conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of a leading mechanical contractor with a dominant presence in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. Our client is recognized for technical excellence in large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional projects — with particular depth in Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a true executive seat, reporting directly to the company President, and shape the future of a high-growth organization in one of the nation's most active construction markets.
Compensation Base Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 Total Compensation: Up to $250,000 with performance-based bonus

The Role
As Vice President of Construction, you will own the full operational and strategic agenda — leading project delivery, driving market growth, developing talent, and managing financial performance across the DFW region.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Leadership Drive market expansion across North Texas by leveraging your existing industry relationships with GCs, owners, and engineers. Represent the company at key industry events and cultivate new partnerships that fuel long-term growth.
- Operational Oversight Lead project management and field operations across a complex portfolio — holding the team to the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule, and profitability. Own scope, budget, schedule, and manpower decisions at the executive level.
- Financial Performance Manage forecasting, job cost performance, and resource allocation. Lead or support contract negotiations and contribute directly to annual budgeting and long-range planning alongside the executive team.
- Team Development Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing organization. Champion a culture where accountability, leadership, and continuous improvement aren't just values — they're daily practice.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in mechanical construction
- Deep, established relationships in the Dallas–Fort Worth construction community
- Proven track record delivering complex HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects
- Experience with VRF systems strongly preferred
- Executive presence with the ability to lead diverse teams and influence at the highest levels
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
