150-175K base salary + performance based bonus opportunity

They require a results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead and shape the way they work across the company. In this senior leadership role, you’ll be in charge of making sure our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with our big-picture goals.

This role is key to our client’s growth. You’ll work across teams and locations to improve processes, lead strategic initiatives, and make sure we deliver great results– every time.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all aspects of day-to-day operations, including supply chain, quality control, logistics, inventory, and warehouse management.
  • Develop strategies and systems to improve how we work, making us faster, smarter, and more efficient.
  • Track key metrics and take action where needed to boost performance.
  • Support and grow a strong team by guiding managers and supervisors to success.
  • Build and maintain great relationships with suppliers and partners.
  • Present clear reports, budgets, and forecasts to the leadership team.
  • Oversee all company facilities, including locations in North America and China, as well as third-party logistics providers.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulations to identify new opportunities and avoid risks.
  • Handle legal and compliance matters related to operations, risk management, and product liability.

What You Bring:

  • Experience using data to guide decisions and improve operations.
  • A proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at once.
  • Deep knowledge of operations across areas like supply chain, logistics, and customer service. Experience with Asian factories a decided asset.
  • Experience with contracts, vendor negotiations, and compliance.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • 10+ years in operations leadership, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Strong experience managing budgets, costs, and forecasts.
  • A history of leading large teams and driving operational improvements.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
  • Passion for continuous learning and operational excellence.

This is a high visibility position within the organization. Succession planning may see this person evolve to move up to the President’s position over time.
