Role Description The Vice President role is a full-time remote position responsible for leading strategic, operational, and commercial initiatives across Artisan Partners UAE’s engineering consultancy services. The individual will oversee project portfolios, guide project managers and technical teams, and ensure delivery quality in areas such as infrastructure, water systems, architectural engineering, and BIM-driven design. Day-to-day tasks include setting business goals, managing client relationships, reviewing proposals and contracts, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet timelines and budget targets. The Vice President will drive business development, identify growth opportunities, monitor market trends, and support key decisions related to resource planning and organizational performance. The role also involves implementing governance standards, risk management practices, and continuous improvement processes while fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture in a remote work environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in engineering consultancy or related fields, including oversight of project management, design, and supervision functions.
- Strong background in infrastructure services, water transmission and distribution, and rainwater drainage or similar civil/utility engineering domains.
- Experience with architectural engineering, BIM workflows, and coordination of multidisciplinary design teams.
- Proven capability in strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management in a technical services environment.
- Advanced skills in financial oversight, budgeting, and performance monitoring for large or complex project portfolios.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Track record of implementing quality, safety, and risk management frameworks within engineering or construction projects.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience in the UAE, GCC, or international engineering markets is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with digital collaboration tools and remote team leadership; ability to mentor and develop diverse teams.
