Soroc is hiring a VP – Technology and Innovation for a health care client in Toronto.

Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in Downtown, Toronto

Emp. Type: permanent fulltime

Annual Base Salary: 200k pa base

The Vice President, Technology and Innovation (“VP”) is responsible for defining and executing company’s technology, product, innovation and cybersecurity strategy. The VP leads the development and delivery of Company’s digital products and technology ecosystem, including product management, software engineering, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data and analytics, technology operations, and innovation. The role is accountable for building a secure, reliable, scalable, and modern technology environment that enables high-quality virtual and hybrid care, an exceptional client, clinician, and patient experience, and operational excellence.

The VP provides executive leadership for company’s digital strategy and multi-year technology roadmap, ensuring technology investments and product capabilities align with Canadian market needs, regulatory requirements, enterprise priorities, and Company’s global strategy. Working closely with clinical, commercial, operations, legal, privacy, compliance, and global technology leaders, the VP plays a key role in advancing Company’s enterprise data governance framework and responsible use of data and AI, while delivering technology solutions that drive revenue growth, innovation, quality of care, security, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, Business or related field (advanced degree preferred);
  • 12+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in technology, product management, digital transformation, and/or data and analytics, within healthcare, virtual/hybrid care, or a highly regulated sector;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies that align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes;
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, data and analytics, AI, and emerging technology trends;
  • Demonstrated experience leading technology modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise technology operations;
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with clinical, commercial, operations, legal, privacy, and compliance functions, and global counterparts;
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary, distributed, and high-performing teams within a complex, multinational corporate structure; and
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a proven track record of managing technology portfolios, product roadmaps, budgets, vendors, and delivery outcomes.
