Position: Water Distribution Operator ON
Join ENWIN Utilities Ltd. as a Journeyperson Water Distribution Operator in Windsor, ON. Ensure the effective maintenance of the water distribution system while adhering to local regulations and standards.
The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor of Water Distribution and handle essential tasks in maintaining and operating the water distribution system. Key responsibilities include emergency repairs, inspections of contractor work, and thorough water sampling. This role also involves working with various technologies and regulatory compliance to enhance service delivery to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and operate the water distribution system efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot distribution network problems
• Commission new infrastructure and manage water sampling
• Plan and implement traffic control measures as per regulations
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required
• MECP Class 1 Certificate in Water Distribution
• Minimum 4 years related experience
• Valid Class ‘D’ Ontario Driver’s License with ‘Z’ endorsement
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
