Job Title: Water Resources Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Resources Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and preserving our valuable water resources. Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze water samples from various sources to assess quality and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Assist in the monitoring and management of water resource systems, including rivers, lakes, and reservoirs.
  • Maintain accurate records of water resource data and create detailed reports for review by senior management.
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and environmental specialists to support water management projects and initiatives.
  • Operate and maintain field equipment used for water quality testing and data collection.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote awareness about water conservation and resource management.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to water systems and propose solutions for effective water resource management.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Hydrology, or a related field.
  • Experience with water quality testing and data analysis is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel to different sites as required.
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred.
