Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Brighton and Hove area for a Workshop Technician. The Workshop Technician will be responsible for performing aircraft component repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure product readiness and compliance. Daily responsibilities include inspecting and testing equipment, maintaining accurate repair documentation, and supporting ongoing improvement of workshop processes. The candidate will focus on maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring timely turnaround for all technical operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical systems, tools, and equipment-specific repairs and diagnostics
- Technical skills in working with aviation components, manufacturing, or related mechanical/electrical equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow engineering standards and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
- Certification in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar field preferred
- Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to comply with regulatory standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
