Role Overview
A Confidential Healthcare Services Organization is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee multi-site operations and drive operational excellence across its nationwide network. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this executive will be responsible for optimizing business performance, profitability, service quality, and operational execution while supporting the organization’s continued growth and expansion. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen, multi-site management experience, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize operations across multiple locations nationwide.
- Drive operational excellence, service quality, and consistent execution of company standards.
- Oversee P&L performance, budgeting, cost management, and productivity initiatives.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement performance improvement strategies.
- Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers and site leadership teams.
- Support business expansion through new site openings, acquisitions, and operational integration.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Standardize operational processes and ensure compliance across all locations.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess operational performance and execution.
- Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth as a key member of the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Healthcare Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple sites, branches, clinics, stores, or service locations.
- Strong P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization experience.
- Demonstrated success in improving operational performance within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and developing high-performing leaders.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience supporting business expansion, acquisitions, or new site openings is highly preferred.
- Willing to travel extensively as required.
